Trip to Ireland: 2 days in Dublin

At the beginning of October 2013 we were traveling in Ireland, between Dublin and Galway.

For the first stay Irish from Thibault I had prepared him a rather nice program: a 2-day tour of Dublin and road trip in the West of Ireland!

To get to Dublin we had taken a flight with Ryanair from Nice, which, as I recall, cost us 65€ round trip by person, which is quite correct 🙂

The first 2 days we visited Dublin from end to end and across!

The visit is underway!

Sit back, relax, and enjoy your flight !

Upon arrival at Dublin Airport, we took the shuttle that takes us to the city center in 30 minutes. 10€ round trip.

The shuttle dropped us off next to Trinity College, then we crossed the main street, Grafton Street, to reach our hotel, not far from St Stephen's Green Park.

In the afternoon we had taken the City Sightseeing bus (18€) so that Thibault could find his way around the city quickly. I have always been critical of these bus companies, Who knows why? ? I thought it was much better to get out of the usual routine, discover the city on foot or by bike. But during my last trip, trip to Milan We thought why not try!?!?

Finally I advise you Taking this tour is quick, it’s explained in French and it will allow you to discover or rediscover the city. These buses exist all over the world; for comparison, in Dublin the price was 18€, in Milan 20€, but I checked for New York; the price is 40€; there is certainly more to see, but I’m not sure I’d spend 40€ on this tour…

And then I couldn’t go to Dublin without stopping by Penneys (aka Primark). That’s the blonde minute. (For girls, Primark arrives in Marseille on December 16, 2013  !!!)

In the evening I made them discover Temple Bar à Thibault. We went from pub to pub, from concert to concert…
