Nice Airport Premier: my experience with the Club Airport Premier after more than 10 years
When you regularly take the plane from Nice, you inevitably end up looking for the little tricks that make traveling easier. Save time and travel more serenely.
And if there is one service that I have been using for years, it is the Club Airport Premier at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport.
I am a member Gold for over 10 years And, honestly, the advantage I appreciate the most isn’t the one that you would necessarily think of first: not having to queue for security checks.
For me, the real luxury at the airport is this: not to wait.
Over the years, I’ve also learned to combine my Airport Premier status with my card. easyJet Plus. The two programs are independent, but together they allow me to greatly optimize my departures from Nice, especially when I’m leaving for a day trip. London or Paris.
I explain everything in this article: how the Club Airport Premier works, how to accumulate CAPS, the benefits of the Gold status, and most importantly, why, after more than ten years, I continue to use it.
The Club Airport Premier Nice: what exactly is it?
The Club Airport Premier is the loyalty program of Nice Côte d’Azur Airport aimed at regular travelers.
Registration is free and allows you to accumulate points. CAPS thanks to its flights, but also thanks to certain purchases and services at the airport.
The operation is quite simple:
- 100 CAPS are offered with my CS010G code upon registration
- the status Gold is reached from 1,000 CAPS
- the status Platinium is reached from 3,000 CAPS
- The CAPS are accumulated during 12 months
- On the anniversary date of the account, the balance is reset to zero and the accumulated CAPS are used to determine the status for the following 12 months.
So it’s a particularly interesting program when you regularly take the plane from Nice.
My favorite benefit: the Airport Premier reserved lane
That’s clear The reason why I hold on to my Gold status.
As a Gold member, I have free access to a reserved file for security checks in both terminals of Nice Airport.
And for me who travels regularly, the time saved is really considerable.
How does it work?
At Nice Airport, the reserved-queue terminals are located on the left.
I scan first my Club Airport Premier Gold card, Then, my boarding pass.
The gate opens and I can go straight through the reserved queue.
The Club Airport Premier specifies that passing through this lane automatically records the flight in the account. If the email address is up to date, a confirmation email is sent when the balance is updated.
Personally, I therefore receive my email very quickly confirming that my flight has indeed been credited to CAPS.
And it really became a habit.

The real luxury at the airport: not having to wait
Over time, I realized that what I appreciate most about Airport Premier isn’t even just winning exactly X minutes.
It is mainly about No longer having that feeling of running after time.
I can get to the airport quietly, quickly go through security, and then have time to:
- make some purchases; ;
- go to the Duty Free area; ;
- having breakfast; ;
- drinking a coffee; ;
- reply to my emails; ;
- work a little; ;
- or simply sit down and wait for my flight without stress.
And that really changes the experience of traveling.
When you travel often, these small moments add up to a lot.
How to combine the CAPS with the Club Airport Premier?
It is an important question because The Gold status is not permanently acquired.
You have a period of 12 months to accumulate your CAPS and reach the required number to obtain or renew your status. On the anniversary date of your account, the balance is reset to zero and your level for the following year is determined based on the accumulated CAPS.
The goal for the Gold is therefore to reach 1,000 CAPS over the year.
And contrary to what one might think, it can happen quite quickly if you travel regularly.
Saving your flights in advance allows you to earn more CAPS
It’s a small trick that I use and which I really recommend.
If you register your flight Between J-30 and J-2 before departure, You can get:
- 150 CAPS for a short or medium-haul flight; ;
- 300 CAPS for a long-haul flight.
By simply registering a flight after your trip, the fee is 100 CAPS for short/medium-haul flights and 200 CAPS for long-haul flights.
So, if you have several trips planned for the year, think about recording your flights in advance.
And if you already have 2,000 CAPS or more in your account, the program even provides for an increased rate.
% 10% discount in many stores and restaurants
Another advantage that I use regularly: Discounts in partner stores and restaurants.
As a Gold member, I benefit from, among other things, % 10% off in many shops and restaurants at Nice Airport.
At Terminal 1, this includes brands such as Aelia Duty Free, Fragonard, Longchamp, L’Artisan Parfumeur, Obsentum, Zegna and The Gallery in Nice.
In terms of restaurants, you’ll find places like Chez Pipo, Joe & The Juice, Ladurée, La Tarte Tropézienne, Lobsta, Prêt à Manger and Trib’s.
At Terminal 2, the list includes Aelia Duty Free, Chanel, Dior, Fragonard, Lacoste, Pharmacy, Safebag, The Gallery In or The Kooples, as well as many restaurants and cafes offering a 10% discount %.
There are of course exceptions and some discounts are not cumulative with other promotions. It is therefore best to check the conditions when making the purchase.
Parking spaces reserved for Gold members
Another practical advantage when I travel to the airport by car: Gold and Platinum members have access to reserved parking spaces.
In Terminal 1, they are located at Parking P2, in the basement.
In Terminal 2, they are located in Parking P5, block B, level 2.
Simply follow the Club Airport Premier signage and scan your membership card at the barrier.
1 € spent = 1 CAP
The Club Airport Premier also allows you to continue accumulating CAPS when you use certain airport services.
In the concerned partner stores and restaurants, the principle currently is as follows: 1 € spent = 1 CAP.
The CAPS are then credited to the account in the course of the following month.
Some airport services also allow you to accumulate CAPS, including parking facilities, VIP lounges, or certain online-only services.
🎁 My Airport Premier referral code: CS010G

And especially, if you want to sign up, be sure to use my referral code: CS010G.
Registration is free and 100 welcome caps are offered upon registration.
And on my part, I will also receive 100 CAPS.

My opinion after more than 10 years with Airport Premier
After more than ten years as a Gold member, it is clear The security check queue remains my number 1 advantage.
When you travel a lot, I find that the difference is very noticeable.
It’s not just a matter of a few minutes being gained. It’s mainly the fact of being able to Arrive at the airport without stress, Knowing that I will be able to quickly pass through security and then take my time.
With the CAPS discounts at shops and restaurants, the reserved parking, and the possibility to enjoy VIP lounges at reduced rates, the program becomes particularly attractive for travelers who regularly depart from Nice.
And my little advice: if you have the Gold status, really think about booking your flights in advance. The 150 caps of a short or medium-haul flight can make a real difference when you review your 12 months of travel.
For me, the calculation is quite simple: I travel from Nice, I accumulate my points, I use the benefits I need, and every year I try to reach 1,000 points to return with my Gold status the following year.
And above all, I earn something that has no price when you travel often: more time and much less stress at the airport.
