3 reasons to go on a cruise in the Balearic Islands
Hello travelers!
This week we’re going to talk to you about cruising and what could be better than diving into our next summer vacation and dreaming a little?
Here we go for a good dose of sunshine and off we go to the Balearic Islands!
Having had the opportunity to visit it several times, I find it to be the destination closest to home and one that also connects us easily! Imagine being able to find yourself in this little paradise in just 1h30 by plane from Nice!
In my wishlist for my next trips, I dream of taking a cruise with my friends and why not book a trip? sailboat rental in the Balearic Islands?
Visiting Ibiza
Ibiza is one of the four main islands of the Balearic Islands. It was once famous for its clubs and parties and was often frequented by celebrities and renowned DJs. If you want to party there, I assure you there are always clubs but Ibiza is not just a long series of parties on the beach. Having had the chance to go there three years ago, I was so pleasantly surprised to discover the north of the island which is completely different from the south. The small coves there are incredible and here are some photos I was able to take with my drone below.
During a cruise in Ibiza, you will find many islands and isolated coves to explore and you also have to visit the old historical town to walk around, which is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I loved the energy of the island, a bit bohemian, relaxing; by the way, I recommend you visit the hippie market and head to the island of Formentera just above Ibiza.
In short, whether it’s the clubs you’re most eager to discover in Ibiza, or the island’s stunning beaches, you’ll find plenty of things to do to spend a memorable day during a stopover in Ibiza on your Mediterranean cruise.

Visiting Majorca
The port of Palma de Mallorca is a popular port on many Mediterranean cruise itineraries. It has a variety of experiences to offer its visitors, and many cruise passengers mention it as their favorite Mediterranean port. It is not only for its beauty, but also for its accessibility, as the cruise port is located in the heart of Palma.
The historic old town of Palma de Mallorca is one of the jewels of the Mediterranean. There is so much atmosphere in its old streets, and so many things to see…
I had the opportunity to go there twice on a holiday club when I was younger; I have good memories of it, but I’m not a fan of mass tourism and all-inclusive clubs; indeed, today I’m looking for more tranquility and the boat would be the best solution today.

Visiting Menorca
A visit to Menorca allows you to enjoy the outdoors, with numerous hiking trails and the Cami de Cavalls equestrian trail that stretches for 125 miles around the island. Reputation-wise, the island is the wildest, least touristy one, and that’s exactly what would attract me the most for its tranquility!
Holidays in Menorca encourage you to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle, and the multitude of bars and seaside restaurants that are perfectly located are a reflection of this.
