Five Seas Hotel: an exceptional address in Cannes

As soon as we enter the hotel, we are immediately captivated by this elegant, refined and contemporary decor with global influences through its furnishings and objects collected from all corners of the world. With only 45 rooms, half of which are suites, the Five Seas Hotel aims to be more human-sized and stands out strongly from its neighbors located on the waterfront on the Croisette, offering here a more exclusive and intimate experience.

The rooms

Let’s move on to exploring the rooms. We visited the presidential suite, which is bright, spacious, and arranged over several levels and features a terrace from which you can see a surprising glass and stainless steel jacuzzi. Please note that there is also a secret room at Five Seas, the Top of Five! We won’t tell you where it is located within the hotel, but its access is almost impossible to find… The ideal room for lovers who want to add a touch of originality and romance to their stay. We also had a special liking for the remarkable view of Cannes port and Suquet.

Note that there are only large rooms at Five Seas! Each of the «Deluxe» rooms is over 30m2 in size and all are beautifully decorated with care to recreate the atmosphere of the luxury bivouacs of the old expeditions. Beautiful leather armchairs, comfortable armchairs, king-size beds with large headboards, high ceilings—everything has been thought out to create a unique atmosphere. We particularly appreciate these beautiful volumes, the contemporary and warm ambiance combining design and great comfort.

A nice touch: the room has a spacious dressing room (for the greatest happiness of Capucine), a mini bar is provided, a Nespresso coffee machine is available and you can bring your own touch of ambiance by playing your favorite music playlist on the iPod Dock. A must-see for this beautiful bathroom that cleverly opens onto the bedroom or maintains privacy thanks to adjustable curtains. The right compromise for those who are torn between the two alternatives!

 

The terrace

Time for relaxation: we take a moment to get to the top floor on the hotel terrace, which is equipped with a surprising outdoor pool made of stainless steel in the center, surrounded by sun loungers and olive trees. The ideal place to relax and forget for a moment that we are right in the heart of the city of festivals.

Once night falls, the atmosphere is just as magical… You can enjoy delicious signature cocktails, appetizers and tapas at the ephemeral brasserie open from June to September, while watching remarkable live music with a jazzy and bossanova atmosphere at sunset. The pool terrace is the ideal place to spend an unforgettable moment above the city’s rooftops.

The SPA

Looking for a wellness break? Facial or body treatments, rituals, a customized program: The Five Seas Hotel offers you wonderful moments of escape and relaxation in a prestigious 250m² spa designed by Cinq Mondes and Carita. There are four treatment rooms, two saunas, a hammam, a relaxation room and a fitness room. We have also tested and highly recommended the traditional hour-long massage! (110€)

We had a real heart-to-heart moment with this exceptional hotel that takes you on a journey during your stay. We feel comfortable and at peace there; the staff is welcoming and attentive; the services are excellent; in short, we can only recommend the Five Seas to enhance a romantic weekend in Cannes.
