Zoom in on Vincent Urban and his spectacular travel videos

I can’t count the number of hours I’ve spent in front of my computer screen watching the travel videos of Vincent Urban and his gang (Clemens Krüger and Stefan Templer), a group of friends from Munich who, every year, produce some exceptional videos, most of which are labeled Staff Pick by Vimeo, that’s for sure!

Each of their creations is an invitation to travel… We are completely captivated by the topics they cover. Some of them are focused on escapism (Morocco, South America, etc.) while others emphasize delicate situations around the world (Lebanon, DR Congo, etc…). One thing is certain: these videos exude authenticity and simplicity, and they definitely move us to tears.

It’s a subtle blend of well-balanced technical and artistic elements that ultimately result in an exceptional result. The music is perfect, there are sound effects, strong contrasts from one scene to the next, and then there’s this rhythmic buildup as you watch his videos… A treat! I discovered it with the South America 2012 video, and since then I’ve been hooked! Here’s a selection of his best videos, and of course I encourage you to discover the others; you won’t be disappointed!
