Holidays in France this summer 2014
Only a few weeks left and it’s vacation time for millions of French people! Well, it’s a little different for us because we travel a good part of the year, combining remote work and discovering the most beautiful spots in the world. But this summer we’re going to slow down a bit and take the time to rediscover the Côte d’Azur, our beautiful region that offers a wide variety of landscapes, from the coast to the lush, mountainous hinterland… And when you say «summer,» you also say «season of weddings»! And that didn’t miss us at all, since we’re going to Alsace in the Sundgau region to celebrate a wedding but also to discover this authentic and traditional region. Basically, this summer we’re going on a 100% France vacation!
Several people from our circle (seniors, couples and families with young children) have asked us for ideas for holidays this summer and we have advised them to take advantage of this beautiful season to discover our sweet France; the winter and spring holidays being more of an opportunity to travel abroad. While browsing the web I discovered the site vacanciel.com which offers all-inclusive hotel-club stays in France. The ideal choice for families or couples looking to relax, have fun, and discover one of the 40 French destinations offered by the site. You will have the choice between Brittany, the Atlantic coast, the Mediterranean coast, Corsica, the Côte d’Opale, but also Alsace, the Ardèche, the Lozère, the Paris region, the Basque Country, the Loire, the Jura, and the Alps! In other words, there is plenty of choice!
You can also find interesting promotional offers such as: Flash sales This allows you to get up to 35% discounts on certain destinations, or even last-minute offers for weekends during the holidays. You can choose a single accommodation option or a full board package in a club, depending on your preferences and the type of vacation you want to take. There are numerous search themes to find the vacation that best suits your desires, such as: dance, hiking & sports, wellness & thalassotherapy, leisure activities, grandparents & grandchildren, mountain or countryside holidays, by the sea, as a couple, with a baby, with teenagers, etc… The list is long! You’re sure to find your perfect match.

She was taken somewhere where the second photo shows the house by the water? It’s very pretty anyway! Personally, I’ve been living abroad since 2008 and I realize that I know very little about France apart from Brittany and the Pays de la Loire; that’s a bit light. I think that one of these days, like you, I’ll have to reserve some real holidays in France to visit our beautiful country 🙂

1001 discoveries from a chti
10 June 2014
For us it will be a 4-day weekend in France (in the Jura, if you know I’m happy to give advice) and a week on the island of Kos (also happy to give advice lol).
Anyway, I love France; if I could go there more often during the weekend, that would be great 🙂
