Air France is preparing to compete with Ryanair, EasyJet and other low-cost airlines

The airline has just launched a low-cost offer, with tickets starting at 49 euros for 58 destinations in France, in Europe and the Mediterranean basin around it.

These tickets low prices are available for flights departing from Paris-Orly, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse, They are now open for booking from January 7 for trips starting on February 6. Around forty destinations in France will thus be served for 49 euros (the price of a one-way ticket).

You can also take a Marseille-Marrakech trip for 79 euros, or go to Moscow for 139 euros.

For the record, when I lived in Corsica, as soon as I took the plane to go Bastia-Nice an average of 200 € (round trip) had to be counted in the price resident of Corsica when the flight only lasted 45 minutes! And for Paris, it would cost 250 € (and for the Bastia/Paris holidays last Christmas, it was 350 €!)

The principle is the same as in low-cost airlines: tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable, and you will not be able to choose your seat at the time of purchase.

Regarding luggage, you can bring one cabin bag (up to 12kg) with you; otherwise, it will cost you 15 euros to check a suitcase in the hold.
