Colourful explosion in Cinque Terre, Italy.
It is by walking Pinterest in search of the beautiful images that we came across by sheer chance on images of Cinque Terre.
FIVE EARTHS? But! We had never heard of it before! How was that possible? Our first reaction was to locate the villages, which, to our surprise, were only 3 hours away from Cannes!

We advise you to go directly to Levanto,Since the villages are difficult to access, it is best to get there by train! The one-day train ticket costs 10€ and you can take as many trains as you like! For the record, we went to Vernazza by car; it was impossible to find parking in the village; we had to pay for parking and walk for 10 minutes to get to the village. That’s when we realized that everyone was taking the train!
For accommodation in one of the 5 villages, you need to expect about 100€ per night for a resident and a minimum of 150€ for a hotel. For our part, we opted for a camping site., the Aqua Dolce, Located right in the center of Levanto, 2 minutes from the beach and for the damn 25€ (for 2 of us)
If you stay there for a few days, we recommend that you take off your hiking shoes and follow the path that runs along the coast; the scenery is magnificent.
Take the time to get off the beaten path and explore the small streets of each village; disconnection and authenticity guaranteed!
You might stumble upon a charming little restaurant deserted by tourists where they will serve you delicious dishes, like spaghetti al vongole… Mama mia, what a treat! For your information, a plate of pasta costs an average of 6 to 8 euros…
Choose fish-based dishes because remember that you are in fishing villages, so freshness guaranteed 😉
The gastronomic minute is over; now it’s time for photos!

I am so in love with this part of Italy that I have been there twice
For my part, I stopped in Rapallo; the first time I stayed with a family and the second time in a hotel, and I was not disappointed in either trip.Try to go to Santa Margherita just after Portofino; there is a beautiful park where the town hall often holds weddings; the view is so breathtaking.
Go to Portovenere, which is 30 minutes from Spezia and SestriI might go there in the spring; can I send you a short email for more information about accommodation and transportation? Thank you in advance, see you soon!
It’s a beautiful place, I was there just a month ago… and I have only one wish: to go back as soon as possible…
You also have to get lost in nature high up in the mountains; I assure you, in June it was sublime with all those flowers; I thought I had fallen into paradise!!!
You also have to go as far as STa Marguerita, Rapallo and Portafino……it’s more than beautiful……it’s beautiful!!!!Mickael
