We tested: The Address Dubai Mall hotel

Welcome to The Address Dubai Mall hotel, one of the 5 prestigious establishments of the hotel group The Address, present only at Dubai. Ideally located in the heart of Dubai, at the foot of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall, this hotel has 244 rooms, suites and residential apartments for those who wish to stay longer in this fascinating city. Elegant, modern, luxurious and out of the ordinary, this hotel is resolutely in keeping with the image of this city that shines throughout the Middle East and internationally. I had the chance to stay there as part of the #Dubai Blogrip Organized by the Visit Dubai tourism office and the GroupExpression agency, in occasion of the festivals Art Dubai and Design Days Dubai.

What a beautiful experience!

The room

I didn’t just occupy a simple room, but an apartment of 70 m² for myself alone! What a surprise when I entered my room (No. 2607) Just to see the size of this living room! The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, a washing machine, a oven … everything you need to feel at home! The bedroom was also very spacious and for once I was able to sleep in the middle of the king size bed, a real treat (Usually, Thibault takes up all the space…)

The service was excellent, everything was very clean and tidy. I especially appreciated two particular touches: every evening there was a box of chocolates on my nightstand, my little sweet treat! The second surprise that surprised me was finding an impressive floral composition on the table in my living room. Is it Thibault who would have had me deliver flowers? Mystery…

Let’s talk about this view! From my balcony I often look out at this view; I’ve tried to count the number of buildings under construction; there are too many! I’m sure that if I go back there in 5 or 10 years there will be buildings that are impossible to see…

The building you can see is the hotel The Address Downtown, where the other girls were housed. Below, this is the Dubai Mall.

Breakfast

The best time of the day! I was more than delighted with this breakfast; I enjoyed the variety and was able to try 3 different types. To my great delight, there were waffles too!!! (I don't know about you, but for me, a hotel that offers waffles and crepes in the morning gets an extra +1 to its overall rating, yes just for the waffles!)

I have a confession to make: do you know how long it takes a blogger to make breakfast? 30 minutes: 10 minutes to take the buffet photo + 10 minutes to set up the table and take a beautiful Instagram photo + 2 minutes to share the photo + 8 minutes to eat those delicious waffles 😉

The Spa

We all had the opportunity to test the spa at our hotels, and, with my »partner» Julie aka Miss Mag We were able to each enjoy a 30-minute massage in turn. The spa is located on the 3rd floor of the hotel, and it is indeed on this same floor that you will find a hairdresser, a 24-hour fitness room, an outdoor pool with sun loungers and the restaurant Cabana.

Let’s get back to the Spa; Our hostess invites us to change in the very spacious and comfortable changing rooms and then to put on our swimsuits. the total look: bathrobe / slippers / disposable panties. We then settle down in the lounge and use it to have tea, eat some nuts and rest on our ultra-comfortable mattresses. I love these moments of relaxation between girls around a little snack!

Time for some pampering: I choose a half-hour back massage because, as a nurse, I often have to carry my patients and I have some tension in my back. My masseuse immediately felt the knots and was extremely effective! I felt relieved and exhausted! We took advantage of the relaxation room one last time, which truly invites to the most complete relaxation, a pause of well-being and calm that contrasts with the dynamic rhythm of our express stay in Dubai.

The restaurant le Cabana

After our little relaxation session we are ready to start the evening! We head to the edge of the pool where the Cabana restaurant is located. For this evening, I had a tête-à-tête dinner with Julie,And the girls, for their part, dined in their hotels.

Our table was set by the pool with breathtaking views of the Burj Khalifa, In a lounge atmosphere provided by a Russian DJ on the turntables. I didn’t expect to feel such a cozy atmosphere in Dubai!

The dinner we were served was excellent but very filling! We opted for a plate with different fish, it was delicious! And for dessert, a beautiful fruit salad! MIAM!

Little tip: Every day from 4pm to 8pm it’s Happy Hour! I could really see myself going back there with Thibault, sipping a cocktail by the pool, enjoying the sunset over the Burj Khalifa, and thinking about this Dubai #blog trip! (nostalgic? Oh yeah!)
