Road trip in Scotland: memories of an unforgettable adventure

Just 3 years ago, we embarked on a memorable road trip in Scotland to discover its exceptional landscapes and meet its warm-hearted inhabitants. As a matter of fact, it’s not necessary to travel to the other side of the world to have a great time! If we were to go on a road trip in Scotland again, we would take more time to enjoy each of the stages presented on it and discover other cities and regions such as Glasgow, Inverness, the Shetland Islands, etc… And without a doubt, we would return to spend more time exploring the Isle of Skye, an absolutely magnificent region with spectacular scenery. To really immerse ourselves in the local culture, we would consider taking part in an activity, event or festival like these:

• The Shetland Folk Festival on the Shetland Islands, from April 27 to 30
• The Highland Games in the Highlands (the most prestigious in Braemar)
• The West End Festival in Glasgow, from June 2 to 25

• The StAnza festival in Saint Andrews, from 1st to 5th March
• The Belhaven Best Traditional Music Festival in Dunbar, from 24 to 25 September
