We tested: the Zeitgeist Hotel in Vienna

When you next visit the Austrian capital, be sure to visit the Zeitgeist hotel, This is a very beautiful 4-star hotel that we were lucky enough to try during our train trip with InterRail, exploring Europe.

The hotel is located in a New modern neighborhood under construction in the city center of Vienna, just steps from the new train station and metro station Südtiroler Platz and 3 metro stations from the historic center. Although its exterior facade does not seem impressive, the Zeitgeist is elegant, fresh and very contemporary! As soon as we got back to the hotel, we were greeted by the staff who collected our luggage and took us to the reception. The lobby is spacious with a purist style, see minimalist, With the reception desk as its backdrop, there is a beautifully decorated bar/café with a somewhat industrial style, combining harmonious materials and high-quality furniture.

The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, whether in the living areas or in the rooms. Ours was pleasant (the «City Room»), although it was not particularly spacious, but the decor was sober and elegant. The bedding was exceptional, a king size bed of remarkable quality, and I think that’s what really stood out for us! The rooms are soundproofed and perfectly isolated from outside noise. Looking at the hotel’s website, the other types of rooms seem much more beautiful and spacious than the one we had, with terraces for some of them.

The hotel also has a well-equipped gym, But due to lack of time (and a little bit of laziness, I admit) we couldn’t make it there. The breakfast is delicious and very generous with viennoiserie, a wide variety of fruit juices and fresh products (sweet/salty).

We do not regret our stay at this hotel, the The staff was nice, The style and decoration are exquisite, the quality/price ratio is very interesting, in short, a beautiful discovery.
