Plus de 120 blogueurs et m\u00e9dias du monde entier \u00e9taient accueillis dans la province de Terengganu\u00a0pour vivre cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement local qui anime la r\u00e9gion pendant quelques jours. Une immersion totale avec les habitants et plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment les p\u00eacheurs qui nous ont fait vivre leur quotidien, leur passion, leur savoir faire, avec passion et g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9. Que de beaux souvenirs&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-reactid=\".1w.$mid=11435868617005=2df5d5982b38cacad30.2:0.0.0.0.0.0.$end:0:$text6:0\">6 jours c&rsquo;est bien trop peu pour se d\u00e9connecter et comprendre une r\u00e9gion vous me direz ? Vous pouvez faire la liaison en bus ou en taxi depuis Terengganu en 45 minutes environ.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On peut profiter de l&rsquo;\u00eele Pulau Kapas le temps de la journ\u00e9e comme nous l&rsquo;avons fait, o\u00f9 y passer la nuit dans un bungalow en bois sur la plage pour 15\u20ac (petit d\u00e9jeuner inclus) Les plages sont magnifiques, le cadre est verdoyant, et l&rsquo;on se sent seul au monde ! Je ne m&rsquo;attendais pas \u00e0 me retrouver dans un quartier alternatif\u00a0comme ceux de Willamsburg \u00e0 New York, Kreuzberg \u00e0 Berlin ou Shoreditch \u00e0 Londres ! Enfin bon, il ne faut pas comparer ce qui n&rsquo;est pas comparable, ici l&rsquo;architecture des b\u00e2timents traditionnels date du 19\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, avec l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e des migrants chinois, et certains temples sont d&rsquo;ailleurs remarquables. Le quartier de Chinatown est aujourd&rsquo;hui la principale attraction touristique de Kuala Terengganu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ne manquez pas de vous y balader le soir ou les jours de f\u00eates, il y a de nombreux stands pour savourer les sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s locales et l&rsquo;ambiance est au rendez-vous. Par chance, nous y \u00e9tions au moment du Terengganu Perenakan Festival qui se d\u00e9roule chaque ann\u00e9e dans Chinatown du 5 au 10 juin. Cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement c\u00e9l\u00e8bre l&rsquo;h\u00e9ritage de la culture des Perenakans, issue du m\u00e9tissage sinno-malaisien. 5 jours de f\u00eate traditionnelle, de nombreuses animations, et pas loin de 100 000 visiteurs tout au long du festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De part et d&rsquo;autre\u00a0de la rue Kampung China, il y a plusieurs\u00a0ruelles perpendiculaires dans lesquelles se cachent de belles installations artistiques et des r\u00e9alisations de street art. Compos\u00e9e de cristal, de verre et d&rsquo;acier, cette mosqu\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite en deux ans et a \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9e\u00a0en f\u00e9vrier 2008. Elle est situ\u00e9e au Taman Tamadun Islam (Parc du patrimoine\u00a0islamiques), sur l&rsquo;\u00eele de Man Wan. Elle poss\u00e8de 4 minarets, a une superficie de plus de 2100 m\u00b2 et peut accueillir plus de 700 personnes. Vous pouvez la d\u00e9couvrir en journ\u00e9e en profitant par exemple d&rsquo;une petite croisi\u00e8re sur la rivi\u00e8re pour l&rsquo;admirer sous tous les angles (environ 15RM), vous serez surpris comme moi par la beaut\u00e9 de l&rsquo;\u00e9difice lorsque le soleil se refl\u00e8te sur les parois de verre et de cristal. Mais je vous conseille aussi et surtout de la contempler de nuit, le spectacle est impressionnant . J&rsquo;ai eu l&rsquo;occasion de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de la mosqu\u00e9e de cristal, et on a l&rsquo;impression qu&rsquo;elle est nettement moins grande qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur. Il y a en son centre un immense lustre en cristal. La p\u00eache \u00e0 la seiche se pratique d&rsquo;une mani\u00e8re bien particuli\u00e8re qui provient des traditions ancestrales. Nous sommes all\u00e9s \u00e0 deux reprises en pleine mer en compagnie de p\u00eacheurs locaux pour d\u00e9couvrir et apprendre cette m\u00e9thode bien particuli\u00e8re. Il s&rsquo;agit en fait de d\u00e9rouler plusieurs m\u00e8tres de fil de p\u00eache jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que l&rsquo;hame\u00e7on touche le fond. Ensuite il faut avoir de la patience et faire des mouvements de vas et viens en hauteur en tirant sur le fil pour essayer d&rsquo;attraper une seiche. M\u00eame si l&rsquo;attente est longue avant d&rsquo;en attraper seulement quelques uns, on profite de l&rsquo;ambiance chaleureuse \u00e0 bord des bateaux traditionnels, les p\u00eacheurs si gentils et agr\u00e9ables nous\u00a0font vivre leur quotidien, leur passion, racontent leurs histoires, et on profite \u00e9galement du coucher de soleil f\u00e9\u00e9rique sur la mer de Chine. L&rsquo;aventure continue m\u00eame en pleine nuit et les p\u00eacheurs installent des lampes suspendues pour attirer les seiches. Pendant le festival il y avait une douzaine de bateaux en mer espac\u00e9s chacun d&rsquo;une centaine de m\u00e8tres et l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re \u00e9tait unique&#8230; D\u00e8s qu&rsquo;un des participants avaient une prise on pouvait entendre les cris de joie en pleine nuit !<\/p>\n<p>Je garde un souvenir inoubliable de cette exp\u00e9rience unique, cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement partis\u00a0visiter Mangkuk, un charmant petit village de p\u00eacheurs\u00a0situ\u00e9 dans la province de Setiu, \u00e0 une soixantaine de kilom\u00e8tres au nord de Kuala Terengganu. On s&rsquo;y sent coup\u00e9 du monde, loin de tout, le cadre est encore plu authentique, plus sauvage, pr\u00e9serv\u00e9 du tourisme, et les quelques familles qui r\u00e9sident dans le village\u00a0sont accueillantes, et les passants sont curieux et avenants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous avons particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9colte des coquillages dans la rivi\u00e8re situ\u00e9e devant le village, un moment bien marrant o\u00f9 nous \u00e9tions tous avec les bermudas et pantalons retrouss\u00e9s entrain d&rsquo;essayer de remplir nos sauts ! M\u00eame si nous n&rsquo;avons eu au final qu&rsquo;une dizaine de coques chacun ; multipli\u00e9 par la centaine de participants, nous avions de quoi tous nous r\u00e9galer le soir autour du barbecue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous sommes rest\u00e9s \u00e0 Mangkuk seulement une apr\u00e8s-midi, mais si j&rsquo;ai l&rsquo;occasion d&rsquo;y retourner avec Capucine, je pense que nous y resterons 2 jours histoire de profiter davantage du cadre et des Kenyir et sa jungle luxuriante<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En plein coeur de la province de Terengganu se trouve l&rsquo;une des plus vieilles for\u00eats tropicales au monde\u00a0et aussi le lac Kenyir, le plus grand lac artificiel de l&rsquo;Asie du Sud, qui compte pr\u00e8s de 340 \u00eeles. Il y a une grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de plantes et de fleurs uniques qui ne poussent que dans cette r\u00e9gion du monde et le d\u00e9cor est vraiment merveilleux. Un v\u00e9ritable jardin d&rsquo;Eden et un havre de paix pour les amoureux de la nature. \u00a0QUELLE D\u00c9CEPTION !<br \/>\nBienvenue au cirque&#8230; D\u00e8s mon arriv\u00e9e j&rsquo;ai eu de gros doutes en voyant ce grand parking qui ressemble \u00e0 ceux des centres commerciaux. S&rsquo;en suit l&rsquo;accueil par le directeur, un personnage assez vulgaire qui semble avoir des dollars dans les yeux plut\u00f4t que de l&rsquo;amour pour ces \u00e9l\u00e9phants&#8230; Tout n&rsquo;est que chemin balis\u00e9, un d\u00e9cor artificiel, des boutiques souvenir&#8230; Bref, ce n&rsquo;est que le d\u00e9but et je me dis que la visite sera diff\u00e9rente et peut \u00eatre \u00e0 la hauteur de mes attentes&#8230; Et l\u00e0 c&rsquo;est le drame&#8230;<br \/>\nEn se baladant d&rsquo;un mirador \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre en empruntant des ponts de singe, j&rsquo;observe en contre bas des cl\u00f4tures \u00e9lectriques et un premier \u00e9l\u00e9phant qui est attach\u00e9 \u00e0 la patte par une grosse cha\u00eene et qui se dandine (stress\u00e9, angoiss\u00e9)<br \/>\nLa visite continue et la tristesse m&rsquo;envahit et ce jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;animation finale : un cirque !\u00a0On arrive dans des gradins en b\u00e9ton et le directeur qui nous a accueilli se transforme en animateur DJ qui diffuse une musique tr\u00e8s forte pour chauffer le public. L&rsquo;id\u00e9al pour le confort et bien \u00eatre des \u00e9l\u00e9phants !!\u00a0S&rsquo;en suit une demie heure de show horrible o\u00f9 les \u00e9l\u00e9phants dress\u00e9s amusent le public en faisant des acrobaties et autres fantaisies tristes \u00e0 observer. Pour conclure, les \u00e9l\u00e9phants arrosent le public avec leur trompe&#8230; Un show d\u00e9sastreux \u00e0 la Seaworld ou Marineland&#8230; Pour conclure, s\u00e9ance photo avec les \u00e9l\u00e9phants o\u00f9 tout le monde y va de son selfie minable&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Au final c&rsquo;est une grosse d\u00e9ception, ce n&rsquo;est pas un sanctuaire de protection mais une usine
